Steve Irwin: The Crocodile Hunter

Steve Irwin passed in September of 2006. It was days before I was scheduled to do a ceremony with my medicine man in Arizona. During this ceremony, I prayed heavily for Steve and for the beautiful family he left behind. I think it was these prayers that caused his spirit to come and communicate with me for weeks afterwards, even in my dreams. He told me that he had a message for his family and that he wanted to let them know he was great and having a wonderful experience. “Crikey, this place is amazing!” But I had no way to reach his widow, Terry. Therefore, his message was never delivered from me. Perhaps someone else has since been able to get through to her.

Enthusiastically, Steve told me that he, too, left out of choice, though it seemed sudden to us. This was a spiritual choice, not a mental/human choice. He said that he was meant to work as an ambassador of sorts and assist other people who were crossing over into the spirit world, especially people who had important roles in preserving the health of the planet and assisting the evolution of humans through the animal kingdom. He told me that his work could not continue while he remained in his human form and that he was never meant to live a long life as Steve Irwin.

Steve was happy in spirit, yet expressed a concern for his family, especially his young daughter Bindy Sue (At the time, I did not know her middle name. Since then, I have found out that the information is accurate). He said that she seems to be handling things ok for now, but that she is, in fact, in a lot of pain and once she is a teenager, he’s concerned that her pain might boil over and cause discord and upset within the family as a whole. He simply wanted her, and everyone, to know he is ok and loving his new role as a “spirit guide” for many many spirits around the earth and beyond. He is working heavily with his guides and angels and would like his earthly family to let him go. They are not without him. He is right there, with them always, and he does hear what they say to him. He will love them forever and his powerful, and ancient, connection with Terry Irwin will continue. He says, “I didn’t make a mistake marrying that one. She’s brilliant.” She will always be a part of him and helped make his Who He Is today.
